Enchanted Forest: Centerpiece Inspiration #1
I'm pretty sure Nathan and I will try to DIY our centerpieces (any Knottie know-how is much appreciated!). This is my inspiration so far.
We want to create a romantic, fall, forest feel to our reception room. We figured flowering branches would do the trick. I'm picturing branches in tall vases with either delicate pink flowers or candles decorating the branches.

Inspiration #2
I love the butterflies on this one and think that might be a nice way to add in some pink accents. I also like the idea of having candles around the base of the vases, since having little lanterns on the branches might prove to be dangerous! :)
UPDATE:
We did decide to go with two centerpieces, to break up the uniformity from table to table. Here are pics of the mock-ups of each.

Centerpiece 1: Tall Vases with Flowers
Ignore the mess in the background--despite the crazy appearance, the florist is really talented. We're going with Oscar from Avenue Florist (Elizabeth, NJ).
He designed a mix of pink flowers to match the ones we're tentatively using in my bouquet, dyed the water pink and added LED lights so that the base lights up, and submerged a curly branch in the water. He's adding in short, curly branches at the top to tie in with the branch centerpieces.

Centerpiece 2
The second centerpiece we're considering will play up the branch motif. The LED branches (left) will be placed in a tall vase filled with watermelon pink crystal filler. The branches will be strung with hanging crystals and the bottom of the vase will have a ring of flowers to match the other centerpieces. We love the idea that the room will be up-lit with a soft, pink light emanating from each table.
